Back so soon..

i can't believe i'm back in japan, sooner than i expected. but in a strange way, 'back' is not so appropriate because it feels like i was never away. well ok, maybe away for say, 2 weeks. and that's quite a surprise, after all that i've been through since i left. i still even have some unused loofahs, shampoo and body lotion in the cabinet. hehehe. it feels like i still live here - the train station, the convenient stores near the apartment, my bed, the roommate. oh she is laughing, maybe gloating over the fact that when she leaves for good on friday, it'll be my turn to look idiotic with unwashed face early in the morning, helping her with the luggage going down the building. and i thought i already had the last laugh.

in the recesses of my mind, for reasons only known to me (and will always be), i believe that somehow, i need this trip. well i could use the extra allowance and i could buy a couple of those 100-yen stuffs for the apartment in cebu, but it has nothing to do with any of those. i just know that six weeks after, when i go home, i'm sure i will be smiling. you know, the genuine smile, one that comes from the heart. not like the apprehensive and perturbed one i sported the last time i went home. nyahahaha!
