coffee (part 2)

To drink or not to drink COFFEE: that is the question.
i was so itching for coffee but i thought having another round after that one at 5pm yesterday is too soon. still afraid of the palpitation, duh! since i can't have it, i researched about it instead. and surprise! surprise! eventhough coffee is one of the most consumed beverage in the world, i am amazed that up until now, there is no clear line drawn between the good and bad effects of coffee to a person. of course there lots of studies and experiments done, but there hasn't been one consistent conclusion that applies to everyone. there's a lot of other factors involved, like a person's diet, other illnesses if any, lifestyle, age, amount of coffee taken per day, so on and so forth. one article said that caffeine, in some way hampers the absorption of minerals in the body like magnesium, zinc, iron, potassium and vitamin B. could this be true? i'm curious. two weeks ago i complained to my brother (a physician) that i have frequent leg cramps and other body aches, and said that i may lack potassium and recommended to take vitamin B supplements. or maybe it was just coincidence....to sum it up, my little research didn't help me at all. it just made me a tad more confused.
