the right thumb rules

stupid things happen all the time. say, getting a nick at the right thumb while washing the peeler. until such thing happen, you never realize the importance of some body parts. poor, small, unappreciated, unrecognized body parts. one of them being the .. er.. thumb. so then, when an unfortunate thing happens to the uh, thumb, you realize some other stupid things, like having all the knick-knacks at home such as trash bags, shoe dessecant, mini-sewing kit, assorted hooks, paperclips, etc. but there's no band-aid, and that's what you really need when you get a cut on your thumb. so then, you just sit there, because you can not brush your teeth, take off your necklace, undo the buttons of your shirt whithout smearing blood all over the place.
